History of twitter:                                                                                                                                             Twitter began as a project research and development of Obvious, LLC, a small start-up in San Francisco during March 2006. The original name of the product was twttr, inspired by Flickr. The principle was used internally by the company until it was officially released to the public in October the same year. The service quickly began to gain followers and in March 2007 won the South by Southwest Web Award in the category of blog.
Jack Dorsey is the father of this web application and current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Twitter, Inc., company that arose as a result of Obvious, LLC and the success achieved by Twitter. At the beginning of 2008, the Twitter team was composed of 18 persons, during 2009 have quadrupled its workforce and continue to grow.
While Twitter was used for a short time as Google AdSense advertising services, decided to discard revenue by advertising to get more users, meanwhile financed capital investment risk.
